This wet fire blanket is fully soaked with active fire fighting non-toxic liquid gel. Compared to the traditional fibreglass blanket, it can almost immediately put out the fire AND absorb a great amount of heat.
A traditional fire blanket will not be able to wrap an object easily but the wet property of the wet fire blanket allows it to wrap 3 dimensional objects with a greater seal. This allows the blanket to smother out the fire and heat almost immediately and greatly reduces the damage done by the fire.
Small in size, the wet fire blanket is visually pleasing and will fit in easily with the aesthetics of modern kitchens.
This item has a limited life span of 2 years due to active fire fighting ingredients. The date of expiry will be 2 years from month of purchase.

Tested to British Standards EN 1869.
It is important to note that for the purpose of safety, fire blankets are a one use item. After putting out a fire, the fire blanket should be replaced with a brand new piece.
